WCARC (Wright County Anti-Racism Coalition)

To combat racism within our communities in and around Wright County. To work with institutions in our communities to create shared language and shared knowledge about racism and how it works. To educate others and, as a largely white organization, to strengthen the voice of white community members as they address systemic racism, white privilege and racist ideology in other white people. To partner with and support people of color in our communities and strive to make Wright County a welcoming place for all. To recognize the intersection of oppression that happens within communities of color and how these intersections compound oppression.

WCI, along with other local groups (Monticello Diversity Committee, Delano Diversity Committee, Huddle) are listed as supporting this group and it’s actions.
