What is CD 6 Common Ground?
The short answer is, we are a bipartisan group of women and men who wanted to find common ground with CD 6 representative, Tom Emmer. We did find common ground among ourselves. So, guided by the Wright County Indivisible (WCI) mission and objectives (10 Ways to Strengthen Democracy), Cd 6 Common Ground is a committee within WCI. Our interest is in supporting truth to strengthen democracy. Democracy for the common good.
Mission
Cd 6 Common Ground engages in dialogue and actions to strengthen democracy for the common good. We insist on representation. We hold accountable, the CD 6 elected representative, Tom Emmer, for his statements and his votes.
Vision
We envision a reality where all constituents of Congressional District 6 are represented by their duly elected representative, currently Rep. Tom Emmer. And we envision constituents being treated with positive regard and their concerns shared promptly with Rep. Emmer. We envision representative decisions made for the common good.
